(IRB#: IRB_00165346)
Uncontrolled Hypertension is when the blood flow in the body is too high against the arteries and is unable to be controlled. People in this study will be randomly chosen to be treated into three different groups. One group will receive the same daily amount of Lorundrostat or MLS-10. Another group will receive the same daily amount and then increase the daily amount. While a different group receives a placebo. A placebo does not have the treatment. The drug and placebo are taken as a swallowed pill. Being in the study lasts up to 5 months with a total of 9 clinic visits. Participants will be paid $50.00 per visit.
